Land draped along with the Himalayas, a land of awe-inspiring scenery, time-worn temples, and some of the best hiking trails on earth. It's an unfortunate and underprivileged country, but it is rich in scenic splendors and cultural treasures. The kingdom has extensive pull on the Western imagination.

It's the kind of country that lingers in your dreams long after you leave it. This is why so many travelers’ are drawn back to Nepal, armed the second time round with a greater appreciation of its natural and cultural complexity. A pair of walking boots is what a mountaineer’s heart sets on to conquer Everest. Trails are dotted with intriguing temples to discover on the way.

Visa Requirements
All non-residents require visas for India, which must be obtained prior to departure. Tourist visas for British passport holders are usually valid for 6 months from the date of issue and currently costs £35.00 per person.
Passports must have at least 2 blank pages and be valid for 6 months after your return from India.

Health Advice
Local medical facilities are not comparable to those in the UK, especially in remote areas.  However, in Kathmandu private medical care is available. You should take care with your water and food hygiene. You should drink or use only boiled or bottled water and avoid ice in drinks.  

Insurance
We strongly recommend that you obtain comprehensive travel and medical insurance before travelling. You should check any exclusion, and that your policy covers you for all the activities you want to undertake.
