Morning drive to Ranthambore National Park and on arrival check in at the hotel. Ranthambore National Park is set in dry deciduous forest in an area that covers rocky hills and open valleys. The Ranthambore Fort built in 10th century dominates the landscape and is worth a visit. The national park provides a fine habitat for sambar, few leopards, nilgai, sloth bear, jackal,crocodile, rich variety of birds and not to forget the tigers that are often on the prowl at the peripheries of the marshes and lakes. In the Vindhyachal mountain range, Bandhavgarh National Park is situated.The Park offers a variety of wildlife including the famous tiger, leopard,sambar, wild pig, blue bull, spotted deer etc. The flora attracts woodland birds which include green pigeon, crested serpent eagle and variable hawk eagle.There are also interesting cave shrines scattered around the park, some of them dating back to 1st century BC.
